The moment I exit my car in the lot, an older white male a car away from me stands and stares me and my four half-Asian children in an aggressive and unfriendly way. My children are very well behaved and happily enjoying the water display in front of the store while another white older male glares our way.
In the store, all the employees, white by the way, are cold and unfriendly as my children and I browse for little nets they can use for creek play. Is this a standard experience in a Bass Pro Shop if you're not white?
Just wondering because it was the strangest and most uncomfortable shopping trip in my life. It left me wondering if shoppers at Bass Pro Shops tend to be racist and if the establishment leans that way.
Reason of review: Hostile Environment.
Bass Pro Shops Pros: Large and lovely store and great selection.
Bass Pro Shops Cons: Very unfriendly.
