Bass Pro Shops - Placed an order online and order was canceled by Bass Pro
Placed an online order with Bass Pro on Jan 22nd, all items showed back ordered, but that was fine, was not in a hurry for them. It stated that if no contact in 60 days the order would be canceled.
On Jan 25th one item on the order was shipped. Then on Feb 19, I contacted Bass Pro through their chat line and then by phone to advise that my credit card had renewed and I wanted to make sure they had the correct date for the order, so it would be seem less. I was advised we were good and went on. On Feb 26th received an email they were shipping the same item from Jan 25th, so I contacted them to advise, so they could stop it and wait for items I had not received.
Once again verifying that the order was still valid. Again on March 12 I contacted them to make sure order was still ok. Then today March 25th, I contacted them again to see when they thought the items would be in and to make sure my order was still in fact good. Wow, surprise surprise surprise, no one had made sure to extend the order and was sent, "sorry sir your order was canceled, so you will have to place a new order".
This not only puts me at the bottom of the list, but now I find out that they no longer offer this online, but in stores only. I guess for us folks that don't live next door to a Bass Pro, they have decided to give us the middle finger.
Well, I have a little secret, and this may be shock to them, they are not the only sporting goods store on the block. Good bye Bass Pro, I hope you close your doors as far as I am concerned.

When an item on backorder goes onto "In store only" status, the computer system automatically cancelles the back order. No one there purposely cancelled your order. No one is in the business to ***, they're people too, and treat others how they would want to be treated.
