CAUTION - BASS PRO SHOPS ON-LINE

Don't shop online - I ordered a rifle scope for my kid just before Christmas - he knew it would be delayed - we don't have much money but had some left over Cabellas gift cards and got a bonus just before Christmas - anyways Bass Pro Shops was honest and told me that it would come from manufacture- but when I followed up to see if I could cancel on the 5th of January I was told I'd be contacted in 2-3 days - still hadn't heard anything- chatted online and still no answers just that they'd have to follow-up with manufacture on Monday - asked to speak with Supervisor while in online chat - had to make phone call and after waiting several minutes was told that they wouldn't blame me for canceling - so I did - be careful you might not get your merchandise

Twice got bass pro gift cards for chrismas and twice they failed to deliver orders before leaving before fishing trip. First time after 60 days didn't receive second time 20 days. # Amozon delivers in 4 days.

I have had the same issues - shipping way too long. Do not ever return something there on line either.

Got the wrong size shoe. So they have a return form which i did. Went to where they told me to go to ship it back and find out I have to pay the 12.57 return shipping. I am totally done buying anything there.

They will be the next Gander Mountain which just closed all its stores. Bad service and difficult to work with.

ps - will not buy anything from their going out of business sales either! Plenty of good vendors to purchase from that have good customer service

Sadly I ordered a firearm online too. The online inventory check said available at my local store.

Paid and placed order. Now I realize after being informed by the direct "matter-of-fact" cs representative that store inventory is only for local walk-in purchase. If you buy online it ships from the central warehouse regardless of local availability. Gottit....
