Bass Pro Shops in Dallas, Texas - Deliberate Refusal to Honor Agreed Price

I purchased a shotgun from Bass Pro Grapevine, Texas. Returned one week later to trade in gun and after inspection agreed trade allowance was $300 and assistant manager ordered a new shotgun for me. One week later the ordered gun and I went to the store to complete the transaction but the Gun Department manager refused to honor the agreement and stated he would only allow $250 trade in allowance which was rock bottom by any standard. I stated that the agreement was for $300 trade allowance and he had to stand to stand by the agreement which he again refused. I have seen cheap cheisling at pawn shops and used car lots but never expected anything like this from a reputable gun dealer like Bass Pro Grapevine, Texas. Then the assistant manager who had originally the agreement stated he had not done so. My wife was withe me and heard him make the offer.

I was looking to buy a Rifle - so i took a number and waited like a fool for half an hour an the sign didn't move at all. I had at least two sales guys walk past me avoiding eye contact...

I guess it's a game they play to see how long it will take for the customers to give up..

it is a circus. Blow me Bass Pro

Bass Pro Shops in Walkertown, North Carolina - Bass Pro Service Is Non Existent

I purchased an Arctic Cat ATV from BPS in Charlotte NC last year. The rear axle needs repair so the machine was left there to fix the problem as directed by Bass Pro. It has been 4 weeks and still no repairs! I have called 5 times, but have never got to talk to the actual repair service dept, only someone else who would take a message. Not once has anyone there had the common courtesy to call me back. Do Not buy major things like ATVs, boats, etc from BPS if you will need work done on them! They are the worst people I've ever dealt with. Needless to say they will never get my business again.

Bass Pro Shops in Miami, Florida - Lost a customer for $6

I returned/exchanged an item that I purchased 45 days ago from the Bass Pro store in Fort Lauderdale. They gave me a an exchange on the same item in a different size. It was cheaper. I wanted a credit for the difference on my American Express (I had the receipt) but the policy was merchandise credit only. (or so I was told) Spoke to a manager (Chris)and he was not interested as it was company policy. I asked to see the refund policy that showed this (the receipt has no return info)and he told me he didn't need to see the policy because he knew what it was. I gave him back the merchandise credit and told him to keep it. They need more than I do. I will never go back to Bass Pro and will tell anyone/everyone my opinion of the service and capability of management in the future. I have spent several hundred dollars at that store in the past but Bass Pro lost me for $6. I did not want cash just a credit on my AEXP.

WHat kind of *** are you? 45 days and you expected money back?

get a life your expectations are completly unrealistic. You're going to tell me you didn't know for the first 45 days if you wanted the product or not?

That's really petty to stop shopping there over $6. The managers know their policies, try to be understanding.

I expect he had other important matters to attend to, as there is a orange paper that details about returns he could have given you --but who knows, they may have been out. I'll sum it up: No returns (exchange only) on electronics, guns or ammo (includes video games). You have 30 days to return with receipt for a credit. If you come on the 31st day, you get store credit.

The months profits have already been recorded, and they issue store credit to keep it that way. Almost every retailer in Southern California (and other states) is like this - that's just the way it is.

They have a larger selection than any other "IN PERSON" store in america. And on top of that aside from Tackle Warehouse there isn't a place out there with better prices. I'm guessing you complain about many things in life don't you?

I find it funny that because there is "no mark up" a retailer is not supposed to stand behind their product. Regardless if they lost money it is the responsibility to make someone happy with their purchase in order to retain them as a customer.

I have a defective Sig that I am about to bring back. Hopefully they do the right thing.

Bass Pro Shops in San Antonio, Texas - Very poor customer service

If what you want is on their shelf you may buy it, if it's not on their shelf they couldn't care less if you get it or not. Bass Pro shop has excellent products, it's a shame they have Mgrs. that do not care about their customers. If memory serves me well, without customers, you do not have a business. I was told to go home and call back to get the information I was trying to obtain standing in their store. I was in amazement that I was told that. I emailed the Mgr. never received a response. I will continue to shop at Cabellas and Academy, they have better prices on the same products anyway. Where are we in a time in our country when there is NO MORE customer service? Very sad.

If they don't have something in the store order it online. If it is not on the website order it somewhere else simple as that.

It is no longer 1980 it's not a casheir in a store's job to order you an item that is not carried in the store.

You can buy anything you want on the internet it's like magic. give it a try

bass Pro Shop started out as a great outdoors store but I'm now finding that the staff actually know that customer service is not a company priority and could care less about what your needs are. I tried desperately to special order (spend my money)on a Benelli SBE II that they never could keep in stock.

After three times being promised a call by floor sales staff I complained by email to the store manager whom never emailed back. Do yourself a favor and buy online and or places like *** Sporting Goods which has super customer service.

Bass Pro Shops in Atlanta, Georgia - Delivery not made when promised

Ordered a pair of "Roper Boots" on 12/03/2010, that weren't in stock at the store. Was told by customer service that they would be in by 12/16/2010 (Out of town during holiday). Checked back with store on 12/29/2010, was told that the boots have been "back ordered" and won't be available until the end of Feb 2011. The Customer Service department couldn't get their hands on my money for the boots fast enough... Now it appears that they've could give a *** less. Plus when I called the store the woman in Customer Service answered with "hello"... I had to ask her if I'd gotten the correct number for the Bass Pro Store, I was informed that she thought my call was from someone else.... HuH?

That, sir, would not be Bass Pro's fault. That date they gave you that they would get the boots in by comes from the manufacturer.

It's not their fault the manufacturer didn't deliver. And they don't charge you until your back order ships out to you, so calm down.

Bass Pro Shops in Warrenton, Missouri - BassProShop worst customer service department

TOLD me the scope would be mounted on the gun and when I received the gun it was not mounted. Contacted them before I purchased the gun, they sent me an email stating that the scope would be mounted and when I called them back 3 times (to reach the correct person) because it was not mounted, they acted like it was of no concern to them. They did not offer to have the scope mounted and did not offer for me to return the gun to have the scope mounted. Their customer service department is the worst I have had to deal with.
